The Ugliest Dresser....ever.
Of course I am totally in love. $20.00 and it's mine all mine this weekend. I am so excited to get started and figure out the palette and colours I want to use. I'm thinking of utilizing this as a buffet in the kitchen area as I sorely need space for linens, junk and oh yeah....more junk. Any suggestions, oh amazing decorating mavens of cyberspace? What colours would you use?

ReplyDeleteI have been so freaking busy. Still waiting for the damn CD from the reunion so I post about it. There actually were so decent pictures of me which is rare so I will be plastering the internet with them trying to counteract the hideous mug shots people have tagged of me on Facebook. Really? Ugly pictures should just be deleted. :)
I am so far behind on blog writing, reading and even email. But it's the weekend and I don't plan to do a thing but plant my arse here and catch up. Oh that and I have to go to a train wreck of a wedding tonight. Now THAT would be fun to write about but damn she's family and she reads my blog. :)
So anyway can't wait to see what you will do with this. What are your colors?
PS one more thing, I think my daughter is pretty amazing too and I am also a huge fan. She will enjoy your witty colorful comments. There is not envelope to push with her. I brought her up well. :)

I have yet to have seen the dresser seller materialize past Friday. I found it on Kijiji. Man, I hope they come through, I've been painting the goddamn thing in my head two nights running now :)
ReplyDeleteI get the wanting to do the wedding-run-down on your blog but having to censor. I may not have many readers but I'm always wary of who they are and who they know! LOL
Damn it, just whipping through Kijiji and I found my dream dining suite. Damn it.
oh, and I'm pretty sure, after painting it 173 times in my head that this will be cream, black and turquoise :)
